2005 - Fairy Pond
The fairy was made by Swallowhill Dolls, and Joy Parker taught us
how to wig and dress her. My fairy lives by a tidal pool by the sea; the wings
are transparencies, decorated with Swarovsky crystals. Her hair is mohair. Much
to my dismay, after 16 years the two-part resin water is starting to get a bit
sticky! There are real, tiny shells in the pool and around the rocks she is
sitting on.
