2003 - Vanity Table
This project was taught by Christina Dierckx from the Ottawa area.
The vanity (far left in picture) was originally painted a red-brown, and remained unused until
I decided it would make a suitable display piece in my shabby chic
Floralia flower shop.
The “carving” was done with card punchies and cordonnee
thread. It is painted in gray chalk paint with some gold wax accents.
