2015 - Book Room Box

This scene "inside the books" was the CMHH project of 2015, but it little did I know that finishing it would become a great antidote to the sudden changes to our day to day lives that began in March 2020.

My project was inspired by the bookstore of Mr. Karl Konrad Koreander in Michael Ende's book "The Neverending Story ".

The 1:12 version of the book, lovingly created by Kathrin Hohensee from Germany, is on the desk. Atreju, Fantasia 's hero in the story ,with his horse Artax, is looking in from.the large picture frame. Many items on the shelves, desk, and floor, are gifts from fellow campers.
